Alex is not just a photographer. She’s also a model, a passionate woman, a devourer of words... and most of all, of dark romance. So when I suggested turning a boudoir session into a tribute to the literary worlds that make her heart race, she said yes without hesitation.

We had the immense privilege of shooting in one of Québec’s oldest libraries: the Morrin Center, a place steeped in history, silence, and secrets. Every one of Alex’s looks paid homage to a different literary genre: from classic romanticism to forbidden fiction... from discreet corsets to raw lingerie.

Bathed in golden, enveloping light, it was as if every sunbeam wanted to read between the lines of her skin.
This shoot is an ode to the woman who dreams, who reads, who lets go, and who writes her own chapter, with just one glance.
